Things you will learn as a Cape Cod DJ - Disc Jockey Service  

 
Allegro DJ Service brings a higher standard to the wedding industry. All the equipment is state-of-the-art and computerized. There is a lot to learn. If you decide that you are interested in becoming one of our Cape Cod Disc Jockeys, below are things you will be required to learn and be tested on before Allegro DJ Service allows you to perform in the field.
  1. How to respectfully MC (Master of Ceremonies) for formal events such as weddings.
  2. Music mixing techniques, music dance styles, distinguish beats per minute and time signatures.
  3. How to dress and conduct your behavior as a professional in the entertainment industry.
  4. Exposure to Digital media.
  5. Concepts in Database.
  6. Experience with pro-audio, basic knowledge and what the mixer and amplifier do.
  7. XLR connections, wiring, line level, headphone, Low impedance, and high impedance.
  8. Lighting, AC connections, ground lifting, isolation transformers.
  9. Basic computer skills are necessary; we show you how to put it all together.
  10. Experience with other high tech equipment.
  11. How to respond, fix, and continue when problems occur.
If you are interested, you must be available on the weekends.
